Our next pickup day is quickly approaching -- our drivers will be stopping by to pick up your filled red bag on Saturday, FEBRUARY 12th, so please mark your calendars. (Our 12/12/21 email inadvertently had the incorrect February date, so please note the correct date.)
Also for your reference, following is ASG's pickup day schedule for 2022 (the 2nd Saturday of even numbered months):

CURRENT FOOD NEEDS: Peanut butter, jelly, protein drinks, boxed milk (regular, soy, almond, etc), spaghetti sauce, pork & beans, top ramen, saltine crackers. You may also refer to the foods listed on the tag attached to your red bag for other items.
(Please note, the food bank currently has an abundance of the following, and does NOT NEED: Canned chicken, tuna, canned tomato products, canned fruit, chili, meals-in-a-can such as ravioli-o's)
SPECIAL REQUEST: **Please remember these are EXTRA items to add to your bag should you choose.** Baby diapers (sizes 4, 5, and 6), baby wipes, shampoo, and conditioner (regular sized preferred).
As usual, the following are some important details about our upcoming pick up:
If you will be missing Saturday, February 12th's pick up, please be sure to email us to let us know so we do not needlessly stop by your home. If you've already notified us and received a confirmation back, you do not need to notify us again.
If you prefer to drop your bag off directly to The Salvation Army (TSA) food bank instead of having us pick it up on February 12th, feel free to do so, please email us to let us know you will not need pickup at your home. This does not apply to those donors who have "Drop Off" status, as confirmed by ASG.
While we prefer to receive red bags filled with food, we still gratefully accept monetary donations via either our Square website at https://a-simple-gesture-anacortes.square.site or check, payable to A Simple Gesture - Anacortes, mailed to P.O. Box 1413, Anacortes, WA 98221.
