We're already heading into summer and looking forward to our June pick-up day in just over two weeks! Our drivers will be stopping by to pick up your filled red bag on Saturday, JUNE 10th, so please mark your calendars. Our March/April Drop-Off results are in: 4,374 lbs of food were donated during those two months. Thank you for being faithful in dropping off your red bags!
The food bank currently has many needs due to the cancellation of our April pick-up day. We're hoping to eradicate those shortages on June 10th! Following is the food bank's list of current needs, in no particular order.
CURRENT NEEDS: Cereal Rice Peanut Butter and Jelly/Jam Coffee (including single serve instant coffees) Tea Oils Canned and fresh fruit Spaghetti Sauce Canned meat (tuna, salmon, chicken, pork) Meals-in-a-can Chili Baked Beans Tomato Soup Cream Soup Veggie Soup Sugar Baking Products other than flour (evaporated milk, powdered sugar, brown sugar, baking soda, etc.) Jello Desserts Pancake Syrup Milk (all types: boxed, regular, almond, etc.) Granola Bars Cookies Crackers/Chips/Snack Foods Broths (veggie, chicken, and beef) Potato Products Canned Corn Canned Peas Canned Mushrooms Olives Carrots Beets Spinach Cheese Eggs Bar Soap Shampoo/Conditioner Toothpaste/Toothbrushes Paper Towels Baby Diapers Adult Diapers Pet Food NOT NEEDED: Please note, the food bank currently has adequate amounts of the following, and at this time does NOT NEED:
No Pasta, No Flour, No Artificial Sweeteners, No Mac N Cheese, No Tomato Sauce, No Tomato Paste, No Diced Tomatoes, No Meat Soup, No Chicken Noodle Soup, No Canned or Dry Beans (No pinto, black, kidney, garbanzo, or green beans)
